Arizona Muse
Boniface Verney-Carron
An Invitation
This retreat is born from the coming together of Arizona and Boniface, two paths intertwining: hers rooted in the living soil, his anchored in the living body. Together they create a rare field of transformation - one that bridges ecology and psychology, regeneration and embodiment.
Arizona, an activist for the planet and advocate for soil regeneration, brings the wisdom of natural systems - teaching how care for the land mirrors care for the self. Her work opens a deep listening to nature’s intelligence, reminding us that we are part of the ecosystem, not separate from it.
Boniface, a body psychologist and holistic health leader, guides the journey inward. Through movement, breath, and somatic awareness, he helps participants release old patterns, awaken the nervous system, and reconnect with the aliveness within.
Together, they hold a space of symbiosis - Earth nourishing body, body honoring Earth. The outer landscape becomes a mirror for the inner one: what softens in the soil softens in the heart.
Their combined presence weaves the retreat into a living organism - where silence, movement, laughter, and stillness coexist. Participants leave grounded yet expanded, with renewed vitality, clarity, and belonging.
This is not just a retreat.
It is a return - to balance, to wholeness, to the rhythm of life itself.
We look forward to welcoming you, Boniface and Arizona
About your journey
Boniface, body psychologist and holistic health leader - guides the inner journey. Through movement, breath, and group presence, he creates a field of trust where people can release what weighs them down, awaken what lies dormant, and reconnect with their embodied vitality. His practices — from de-shaming rituals to body activation, interception, breathwork and ecstatic dance - invite participants to inhabit their bodies as temples of aliveness and truth.
Join Dr. Guy Hayward on a pilgrimage walk to Rosslyn Chapel, where landscape, legend and song meet in sacred alignment. As founder of the British Pilgrimage Trust, Guy brings not only knowledge of ancient paths but a deep understanding of how walking with intention can open the heart and reweave our sense of belonging. This walk is a slow, soulful journey, part sacred movement, part collective inquiry and a powerful anchor in the wider rhythm of the retreat.
Creativity and connection to place are further deepened during an afternoon at Araminta’s Atelier, a quiet, meditative space where hands meet fibre and story. Guided by local weavers and their intuitive artistry, participants explore the history, techniques, and cultural significance of weaving, gaining insight into a centuries-old craft and its role in connecting community, tradition and place.
Together, the retreat will make you feel both elemental and intimate - a living ecosystem of people, breath, and landscape. Days begin with movement under Scottish skies, progress through mindful hikes in silence and conversation, and settle into evenings of firelight, music, and deep reflection. It is not simply a retreat, but a pilgrimage of reconnection: to self, to community, and to the living Earth. Participants leave feeling lighter, clearer, and deeply rooted - their nervous systems softened, their senses awakened, and their spirits aligned once more with the rhythm of life. This is what it feels like to be part of Journeys with Purpose: a return to what is real, what is shared and what is sacred.
The Somatic Activation Journeys
Each moment invites participants to move from thinking into feeling, from form into flow:
● De-shaming rituals that honour vulnerability and invite radical authenticity. ● Body tapping and friction work to awaken circulation, ignite energy flow, and strengthen somatic awareness. ● Proprioception and coordination sequences that restore the body’s natural rhythm, balance, and grace. ● Primal movements and awakening flows that reconnect us to instinct, play, and the wisdom of our animal body. ● Short activating breath cycles to energise the nervous system and expand consciousness. ● Interoceptive awareness practices, cultivating sensitivity to the body’s internal
landscape — heartbeat, breath, temperature, and subtle sensation — deepening presence and self-regulation.
In Boniface’s presence, these practices unfold with precision, safety and compassion. He holds the container with grounded clarity, guiding participants to move beyond performance into pure embodiment.
